Every review on Verix is linked to a purchase receipt, automatically verified via OCR (text recognition) — merchant, date, and amount are extracted and matched against the provider. Reviews without proof are clearly marked as "Unverified experience" and carry significantly less weight in the Trust Score. No provider can buy or remove reviews.

For consumers, Verix is free — forever. No subscription, no hidden fees. You create an account, upload your purchase receipt, and write your review.

Because reviews without proof are worthless. A receipt proves you were really there. Our OCR system automatically analyses merchant, date, and amount — the receipt is then stored encrypted and anonymised after verification. The receipt itself is never publicly visible.

The review is submitted anyway — it doesn't automatically fail. If OCR recognition fails or is uncertain, the review is manually reviewed with higher priority by our internal review team before being approved. Tip: make sure the merchant, date, and amount are clearly readable in the photo — this speeds up the review.

Your data is stored on Swiss servers (Infomaniak, Geneva). Since we don't use any US cloud provider, our infrastructure isn't directly affected by the US Cloud Act. Fully compliant with the revFADP 2023. You can export all your data as JSON or delete your account at any time — directly in the settings.

Yes, at any time, directly in your account settings. Already published, approved reviews remain visible to other users for transparency reasons, but are disassociated from your account — your personal data (email, profile) is deleted.

No. No provider has access to the review backend. Reviews can only be removed if there's a proven violation of our guidelines — for example, a falsified purchase receipt. This decision is made exclusively by the Verix team, never by the provider.
