Terms and Conditions

Verix is currently in beta. These Terms may be revised before the official launch. Users will be notified in good time.

1. Scope

These Terms and Conditions apply to the use of the Verix platform (verix.contact), operated by Verein Verix, c/o Cindy Mühlethaler, 6037 Root, Lucerne, Switzerland. By registering, you accept these Terms.

2. Description of services

Verix is a review platform for Swiss service providers, where every review must be linked to a verified proof (purchase receipt, QR code, or API confirmation). The platform is currently in beta. Operation may be interrupted at any time.

3. Usage requirements

Use of Verix is only permitted for persons aged 18 or over. Users must provide a valid email address. Verix reserves the right to detect and remove multiple reviews for the same provider.

4. Review Charter

Every review on Verix must:

  • Be based on a genuine, first-hand experience
  • Be supported by valid proof (receipt, invoice, QR code)
  • Be factual and fair in tone
  • Contain no offensive, discriminatory, or unlawful content

Fabricated or incentivised reviews (compensation in exchange for a positive review) violate Art. 3 para. 1 lit. b of the Swiss Unfair Competition Act (UWG) and result in immediate account suspension.

5. Prohibited use

In addition to the Review Charter, the following behaviour is prohibited:

  • Multiple reviews for the same provider
  • Automated bulk reviews
  • Use of false or falsified receipts

6. Limitation of liability

Verix makes no warranty as to the completeness, accuracy, or timeliness of the reviews published on the platform. The operator is not liable for damages arising from use of the platform, except in cases of gross negligence or intent.

7. Termination / deletion

Users may delete their account at any time. Verix reserves the right to suspend or delete accounts without prior warning in the event of a breach of these Terms.

8. Changes to these Terms

Verix reserves the right to change these Terms at any time. Users will be notified by email of material changes. Continued use after notification constitutes acceptance.

9. Governing law and jurisdiction

Swiss law applies. The place of jurisdiction is Lucerne, Switzerland.
